BACE event on Epigenetic Therapeutics – September 2021

In the first BACE event dedicated to Epigenetic Therapeutics we hosted Eric Campeau, PhD, Vice President of Translational Biology at Zenith Epigenetics Ltd.

Eric helped us explore the potential and the drug development trajectory of the BET inhibitors in two indications. In his talk “Translating epigenetic-based therapies from preclinical programs into clinical trials: examples with BET bromodomain inhibitors” he told us about challenges of translating between preclinical models and clinical trials, and showed us how it is important to continue learning from the results of those trials to find the right fit between the drug and the patient group.
